There has been a suspected gas blast at a hotel in central London – and several people are believed to have been injured.
The explosion happened at the Churchill Hotel on Portman Square in the West End in the early hours of the morning.
Police, firefighters and ambulance staff are at the scene, and the hotel has been evacuated.
There are believed to be a small number of casualties, but there are no further details of the injuries at this stage.

About six people are believed to have been hurt in a suspected gas explosion at a central London hotel.
Police were called to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Portman Square at 23:40 GMT.
The hotel was evacuated, and the Metropolitan Police attended with the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade. A small number of casualties were treated at the scene.
Fire officers and gas engineers are ensuring the scene is safe so guests can be allowed back into the hotel.
